Responsible for planning and implementing software for integration with the billing systems. Responsible for the day-to-day management of software development teams in all facets of hiring and performance management. Focus on the overall delivery of agent-facing native and web applications and their supporting services, partnering with Sales, Retention, Customer Care, and Stores teams to align with their product roadmap and desired outcomes. Manage teams of software developers responsible for the quality and timely execution of delivery. Lead teams through discovery, planning, and ceremonies within the application design and development lifecycles. Represent development team in architecture and design phase meetings on applicable projects to provide input and intimately learn about the code. Present proposed solutions and reports status to upper management. Provide visibility and input regarding project prioritization. Work closely with cross-functional teams on resource allocation, budget implications, and timeline considerations. Organizes and delegates work to various levels of software developers. Manage team members’ tasks and schedules. Implements software proposals and estimates the scope of work. Ensures adequate project documentation is created on projects. Manage deployment of software, code, tools, and upgrades in development, test, and production environments. Manage development team’s deliverables including standards document, run books, and MOPs. Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment. Work with the front-line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports to drive a high-performance culture and environment. Prioritize and organize the load of work. Manage resource management.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field. 5 years of experience: using software development process and delivery; in the Cable Industry business analysis, development, or operation; and using Agile software development methodology to monitor software projects. 2 years of leadership experience in billing or cable industry, development or development support or operation area. 1 year of experience with ICOMS and CSG billing platforms.
