About the Role

Dandy is hiring an accomplished Product Leader to join our rapidly scaling technology organization. This is a highly strategic role that will own some of the most important elements of Dandy’s product platform. In this role, you will own the vision and delivery of a new set of offerings that will help dentists grow their practices. This is a senior level position, and we’re looking for experienced product managers with a track record of delivering commercially successful products within a hypergrowth environment.

What You’ll Do

Product development at Dandy is an extremely collaborative effort, with multiple teams composed of UX, Engineering, and Product Management, empowered to solve the most important problems for the business. In this role, you will:

Define the strategy and vision for a new suite of products designed to help dental practices thrive.

Bring deep customer empathy and serve as the champion and voice of our customers

Break down large, complex products into smaller slices of value to unlock business opportunities sooner.

Partner with engineering, design, and analytics to successfully deliver products to market

Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders (Finance, Strategy, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams) to identify and align on the prioritization of opportunities

Leverage data and insights to tell stories and measure your impact and success

Communicate transparently with your cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on context and vision

Help define overall product strategy and the customer experience for Dandy

What We’re Looking For

We are a group of low-ego, collaborative builders who are passionate about creating compelling customer experiences, and we’re looking for a seasoned product leader who thrives in that type of environment.

10+ years of experience in product management, managing software products through the full lifecycle from MVP to general release and subsequent iterations

Demonstrated success leading large, complex initiatives that have achieved commercial success.

Entrepreneurial spirit: Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact

Experience leading products that required driving alignment across many cross-functional stakeholders.

Customer focused mindset and empathy for the end user. Experience partnering with Design teams to craft intuitive workflows that improve our user experience and make it a delightful experience

An effective communicator at all levels, from having the ability to write strong product requirements, to influencing others through compelling narratives and presentations.

Technical competence and comfort-level – you can discuss APIs and services with the engineering team (you don’t need to be able to code)

High bias-to-action: You regularly knock down barriers and get things done, quickly.

Bonus Points For

Previous experience in the dental or medical industries.

Are comfortable working on both technical platforms and user-facing features

Experience at an operationally-intensive company

Design experience

Comfortable compiling test data into presentable and digestible formats

Knowledge of SQL

Time spent at a venture-backed startup during hypergrowth
