Senior Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of outstanding software engineers. You will play a key role in inspiring and driving the efforts of the engineering team to deliver our customer-facing security solutions. With this, you will be responsible for rapidly growing the product capabilities, increasing performance and making our security solutions easier to use.

What you'll do:

• Build, mentor, and grow a distributed team of software engineers and technical leaders responsible for building and maintaining the products our customers rely on to secure their web applications
• Empower a team of engineers with varying levels of expertise and demonstrated ability to achieve a high level of technical efficiency, reliability, and simplicity
• Partner with product management and program management to prioritize and plan projects
• Mentor and provide regular feedback to engineers in design, architecture, development, quality, and career development
• Recruit and hire software engineers and develop them into a thriving, collaborative team

What we're looking for:

• Someone who comes with years of technical and individual contributor experience
• An experienced manager familiar and comfortable with shipping customer-installed software and guiding teams to craft high quality, maintainable code
• Experience leading and effectively executing a distributed team
• We value a variety of voices, so this is not a laundry list. It would be an added bonus if you have experience in ANY of these:
• Prior history working in the software security and web application industries
• High performance, large scale, or global multi-tenant systems
• BS / Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or other related technical fields
